Review Schedule

Fee data is reviewed on a monthly basis as a baseline. Each review involves checking the current rates published in Shopee Seller Centre against the values hard-coded in the calculator. If any discrepancy is found, the calculator and related guide pages are updated before the next day.

In addition to the monthly cycle, an immediate review is triggered whenever:

• Shopee publishes an official announcement of a rate or policy change in Seller Centre
• The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issues a new ruling or circular affecting withholding tax or VAT treatment for online platforms
• A reader submits a credible report of a discrepancy through the contact form or by email

All reviews are carried out by Jerome Ko, the sole maintainer of this site. No fee update goes live without a direct cross-check against the primary source in Seller Centre or the official BIR issuance.

How "Last Updated" Dates Are Set

Every page carries a Last updated date in the byline. This date is set to the most recent date on which the content of that page was substantively changed — meaning a fee rate was revised, a new rule was added, or factual text was corrected.

Cosmetic edits (fixing a typo, adjusting spacing, rewriting a sentence without changing the meaning) do not advance the Last Updated date. This keeps the date meaningful: if it reads June 25, 2026, the fee data was current as of that date.

Correction & Erratum Process

If you believe any fee data, percentage, or factual statement on this site is wrong, please report it:

• Via the contact form
• By email at hello@shopeefeecalculatorph.com

Include the page URL, the specific value you believe is incorrect, and — if possible — a link to or screenshot of the Shopee Seller Centre page that shows the correct value. Reports are reviewed within 3 business days.

When a correction is confirmed:

1. The calculator and any affected guide pages are updated immediately.
2. A dated entry is added to the Changelog section on this page.
3. The Last Updated date on the affected page is advanced to the correction date.

There is no separate "correction notice" appended to the article body; the Changelog below serves as the permanent record of all verified changes.

Editorial Independence

This site is independent and not affiliated with Shopee in any way. It is built and maintained by Jerome Ko as a free tool for Filipino online sellers.

The site is monetized through Google AdSense display advertising. Advertisers have no influence over fee data, rankings, recommendations, or any editorial content. Ad placements are managed entirely by Google's automated system; no advertiser has paid to appear here or to have content changed on their behalf.

If a sponsored or affiliate relationship is ever introduced in the future, it will be disclosed clearly on the relevant page. As of the date above, no such relationships exist.

This section records confirmed, dated changes to fee data or editorial content. A change is listed here only after it has been verified directly in Shopee Seller Centre or an official BIR issuance.

New entries will appear here in reverse chronological order as changes are verified.
