• Every category has a different commission rate. A beauty product and a laptop are charged differently. If you apply one blanket assumption across your whole store, some items will be priced too thin and others will leave money on the table.
• Small per-item errors compound. A 1% miscalculation on a single ₱500 item is ₱5. Across 300 monthly orders it is real money — and it is invisible until you reconcile your payouts.

Pricing a Whole Inventory to a Target Margin

The bulk calculator does not only tell you the margin at your current prices — it can also work backwards. Set a target margin and it shows the selling price you would need for each item to hit that margin after all Shopee fees. This is the bulk version of the reverse SRP calculator, applied to your entire catalogue at once.

This is the fastest way to re-price a store. Rather than guessing a markup and hoping it survives the fee stack, you state the margin you want — say 25% — and read off the SRP each product needs. Items where the required SRP is uncompetitive immediately stand out as candidates to renegotiate cost, drop, or reposition.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Mismatched category names. If your category text does not match a valid Shopee category, the commission lookup cannot be exact. Copy category names from the template's "Shopee Categories" sheet.
• Putting the sale price in the SRP column. Use your normal selling price as SRP. If you are running a discount, model it separately — mixing the two understates your true margin.
• Forgetting the new Seller Growth Fee. Pricing done before May 2026 did not include it. Anything ~1%–1.5% per order matters on thin-margin items.
• Ignoring the shipping cap. The platform shipping fee is capped at ₱100, so its percentage impact shrinks on higher-priced items. The bulk tool applies the cap automatically — do not assume a flat percentage across all price points.
• Not re-checking rates periodically. Shopee can change category rates and fees with limited notice. Re-upload your inventory whenever you see a Seller Centre announcement.
